Life Lessons From My Dog - Webisode 2 - We Can Be Kind

Bella made her debut on The Dog Connection TV Facebook page on December 7, 2014 as her present to her Fans and Furfriends.

Bella is an Author & Writer of The diary of Bella. She is a Canine Community Reporter for The Dog Connection TV too.

We didn't realize how talented Bella was until she started to sing. She truly sings from her heart. She hopes that when people hear her singing she will touch their hearts too. She wants you to have "goosebumps." She knows a lot of her friends in Shelters don't have a chance to find a good home like she has. So her contribution to help Shelter Animals is to use her beautiful voice to get her friends into a good Forever Home.

♥ We Can Be Kind ♥  Lyrics

So many things I can't control
So many hurts that happen everyday
So many heartaches that pierce the soul
So much pain that won't ever go away

How do we make it better?
How do we make it through?
What can we do
When there's nothing we can do?

We can be kind
We can take care of each other
We can remember that deep down inside
We all need the same things

And maybe we'll find
If we are there for each other
That together we'll weather
Whatever tomorrow may bring

Nobody really wants to fight
Nobody really wants to go to war
If everyone wants to make things right
What are we always fighting for?

Does nobody want to see it?
Does nobody understand?
The power to heal
Is right here in our hand

We can be kind
We can take care of each other
We can remember that deep down inside
We all need the same things

And maybe we'll find
If we are there for each other
That together we'll weather
Whatever tomorrow may bring

And it's not enough to talk about it
Not enough to sing a song
We must walk the walk about it
You and I, do or die, we've got to try to get along

We can be kind
We can take care of each other
We can remember that deep down inside
We all need the same things

And maybe we'll find
If we are there for each other
That together we'll weather
Whatever tomorrow may bring

And maybe we'll find
True peace of mind
If we always remember
We can be kind

Bella's Story to Stardom (Charlie Tarochione reporting what Bella told him)

My voice is really my Mom Jess.  She morphs it because my voice is a little hard to understand you know with a lot of woofs.  Before my Mom adopted me, she was diagnosed being bi-polar at age 20.  This caused her great depression and problems coping.  It was suggested she get a Dog, but not just any Dog. . .one just like ME!  Kind, Loving, Affectionate, Cute, Fun, Playful, Loyal and Protective. With a Dog in the house she could feel more secure, but more importantly she would be loved and protected.  So my Mom started searching at Shelters and she picked me.  Why?  Because I filled all those requirements silly you know that. Giggle

Once I got in the house I realized she needed a lot of training, and I mean a lot.  Thank goodness we made a real connection and it was love at first sight because I'm not sure what we would have done.  This was the therapy my mom needed to have me around to set her straight.  Mom wrote a book about me "The Diary of Bella," which really helped her tell her story and vent some of her frustrations.  My Mom also knows what Dogs feel and how much we hurt when someone doesn't treat us right.  So she started to blog on "The Diary of Bella" Blog and before you know it, BAM!  She was having me talk to people over the Internet on my Facebook page.  I started to tell everybody about my days with my Mom, how much I had to teach her and then I started teaching and helping all my Fans.  It's been great.  So where am I now?

This is the exciting part.  I'm working.  Yep, I'm a working girl.  I'm on The Dog Connection's "Canine Chef Show" and I get to use my "In The Pot" recipes too.  I'm on the show with other Canine Community Reporters too, my friends Lexie-lu & Jillybean. Now I'm singing from my heart to inspire people to be kind and not hurt other people.  We need to take care of each other.  I want to help my friends in the Shelters and Rescues, so I'm singing and giving them a voice too.  I'm officially now "Bella - The Real Voice for Shelter Animals."  I've been offered some opportunities to make a really big difference in a Dog's life and for people too so I don't want to mess it up.  My Mom is right there with me supporting me.  Won't you help spread the word.
